Dr Lara Day, Veterinarian at Torquay Animal House Veterinary Hospital
๐ Many of our regular clients probably recognise this smiling face of one of the most phenomenal members of the Torquay Animal House Veterinary team, Dr Lara! โบ๏ธ
But, for those of you who may be new to us, perhaps thinking of coming to our hospital in the future, or those who just havenโt been lucky enough to meet our vet with the sunnier of dispositions, here is a little bit about our Lara ๐
๐ฉบ Professionally, Dr Day has a passion for ultrasonography – particularly cardiac ultrasound and related work involving cardiac disease.
๐ฉป She also enjoys radiography (X-rays), ๐ฆ chemotherapy and cancer care, as well as caring for our very newest patients at the start of their lives with puppy visits and vaccinations, but also taking care of the wonderful senior pets during their palliative care and end of life time ๐ชฝ
Outside of her time being a veterinarian in Torquay at Animal House Vet Hospital, Lara loves all things outdoors.
From surfing ๐๐ผโโ๏ธ, to hiking, gardening ๐ชดand all things in between, Dr Day loves to be in the sunshine โ๏ธ she also loves to be at home doing projects, reading and knitting ๐งถ and obsessing over all things Beagle ๐ถ
